A few GG Stories!

Last week Georgina showed what a lovely, helpful girl she will grow into. She watches me feed the cats each morning and so this particular morning she decided to help. I had already gone outside and let the cats out of the shed. I had washed their bowls and served out their fish. When I walked around the corner GG had already opened the door for Furgus and closed the door and was leading him through to his breakfast! What a surprise!

One of GG favourite activities is to look at photo albums. She is very proficient at naming people like Mum and Dad and Nan and Pop. I always point out her as well. "Thats Gina" I say! Well last night as we were studying an assortment of photos hanging on the wall. This time Gina said " Mum and Shina".

In the last two weeks Gina has learnt ot say "Hell.....0 in a very happy tone. She makes her toys talk to each other.

New Books!

Nan has kindly gone out and searched for the Hairy Mclairy books that we don't have in our set yet! She found all but one, that book was still only in hard cover. Georgina is completely taken with her new books. I have had to read Zackery Quack Minimonster about twenty times yesterday. Georgina is quite impressed with the known characters furtively lurking in the background of each page. She can also name quite a few of the objects found in the story. She is quite taken with the dragonfly which I think she thinks is something like a butterfly. She likes it's googly looking eyes.

This morning while eating my breakfast I received an impromptu hug as Georgina climbed on the couch and gave me a hug from behind! Lubuly girl!

Georgina's hair is now long enough for a ponytail! We've put it up a few times!

Computer Girl!

Georgina loves the computer! I guess her Mum and Dad are always in there! She loves playground radio where she can listen to playschool songs. She has her toys lined up in front of the keyboard. Luckily I have a double screened computer, so we both stay happy! She listens and I read!
