A New Dress for G!

Nan made G a new dress. She wore it to church today with a new pair of shoes. G and Mum just before we headed off to Sabbath School! Isn't my G looking quite the little girl!

G and Koala!

NNSW Camp Day 9 and 10!

On the last Sabbath, we went to church. Ate lunch in our shade tent and then went to Grassy Head beach for the afternoon. C dugs holes for the twins to sit in and also dug a hole for G to sit in. On Saturday night we packed up everything in our tent except for the sleeping bags. We left at 6.30am for Coffs, so I could catch my flight home to Sydney.

NNSW Camp Day 7 and 8!

The speaker for the big tent Pastor Henry was fantastic! He was a black American Pastor with as much vigour and hype as you would expect. He told many of his personal stories throughout the meeting. A son who went to Iraq as a soldier and then later suffered terribly from his horrific experiences. His son died in a car accident not long after he returned from Iraq. We were truly blessed by the message he presented. He spoke on the book of Daniel. Never have I heard the book of Daniel preached about with such hope.

As you can see we also got to the beach again. This time G was wearing a cute pair of pink swimmers. She managed to eat a whole lot of sand and wreck a few sandcastles.

NNSW Camp day 5 and 6!

One afternoon we went to the big banana in Coffs. We visited the lollie shop, went on the salom ride (G and I watched as everyone else went for a ride). And we ate a banana split.

NNSW Camp Day 3 and 4!

G's first time at the beach! She didn't even have a proper pair of swimmers! G loved the sand and the waves! G loved watching her cousins build sandcastles!

The second lot of photo's are of G at the beginners programme. She loved all the music and the toys! Although she would start to fade as the the clock headed for 10am. We usually left early and headed for bed! The theme for the beginners tent was the farm They had real chicks hatching and running around!

NNSW Camp day 1 and 2.

We rose very early on Friday morning to catch our flight to Coffs. A dropped G and I at the airport. We had a huge trolley load of stuff and I could barely push the trolly but before I even got in the door a lovely lady came to my rescue and pushed the trolley to the correct line for me! We had a great flight, with views of the city as we left. G played the whole flight and we arrived in Coffs where another kind couple helped me unload my baggage. G and I had to wait for the cousins, they turned up all smiles ready to take us out to breakfast! It was then on to camp. G finally conked out as we drove the last hour to camp. When we arrived it was all hands on deck as we assembled our three sets of bunk beds and set up our cooking equipment and cupboards. The cousins even bought a shade tent with zips! Zips were very important to keep G away from the leaves, dirt, sticks etc. We attended our first evening meeting in the big tent and then collapsed into our bunk beds ( most of us had a torch and a book to while away some of the dark hours)! For me it was the only time I could actually read because G was asleep!!!

The second day of camp was Saturday and Nan and Pop came for the day! They had a very early start and arrived in plenty of time for church in the big tent. We then had a leisurely lunch in the shade tent and Nan was a hit, as she left a whole container of choc chip cookies! Nan and Pop headed off early in the afternoon and we started to work out our routine for the week. Rise between 6.00 and 6.30. Shower with G. Breakfast with G. Family worship in the big tent where I chase G around. Beginners tent where G has lots of fun running around! Back to our tent for a nap for G. Bible study in another tent from 11-12.00. Lunch!! Afternoon fun with the cousins! Evening meeting in the big tent 7.30-9.30pm.
