I have to thank my Uncle Arthur and Auntie Margaret for the grobag they bought for Georgina. I haven't taken any photos of her in it, so on Friday morning after her sleep I decided to get a few shots. Her favourite thing to do, when she is stuck in her cot, is to turn on her musical mobile and to try and grab the animals. To makes things a bit trickier the mobile hangs on the outside of her cot because it not one that is made for grabbing. In the past we would know she was awake in the morning when we heard the vibrant sounds of Mozart coming from Georgina's room. Unfortunately this has now been transfered to any time she wakes up! A few nights ago we were greeted to the ringing tones of Mozart at about 2am in the morning!
The other night, Georgina was doing everything her in power to stayed awake. As she was dosing off to sleep she would shake her head vigorously to her herself awake. After sitting with her for quite awhile, I thought I might just pop her into her bed and see if she would snuggle down in her bed (as she was almost asleep). As usual, (when she is not quite asleep) she was straight onto her feet, standing by the mobile,
turning on and off the music and making happy sounds. Well I thought, I'll just leave her, after all she's not crying! So I sat outside her room waiting to see what she would do.
Unfortunately, it was exactly what I hopped would not happen! She fell asleep standing up and promptly fell over backwards and hit her head on the side of the cot. (Not too injured, but enough to wake her up again!) An hour and a half after I started putting her to bed she was finally asleep and so was I ... almost!
